Peace Dear Beloved Family!
I thank you all from the depth of my heart for wishing me a Happy Birthday today. It is indeed that! I believe I went through every emotion known to man today.
To me, a birthday is a day of introspection. A day to critically look at the year before, analyze, extract wisdom from the lessons of the failures, express joy at the triumphs, then plan for this year that I may justify breathing Allah's air on His Earth. For that reason, I went through much emotion. Don't get me wrong... I KICKED IT! It was the quiet times that I reflected.
All of you on this forum, though I don't have the honor of knowing all of you personally, I feel connected to you. Even those that don't understand me and have no problem reprimanding me(hey i shouldn't be grateful for that LOL), I still feel a bond from me to you and from you to me. I believe us all to be one big family with all the trials, joys and pains that comes along with it.
We all are growing on our own course of life. Sometimes our paths cross. Sometimes not. There is more than one way to get to the top of a mountain. WHEN I see you at the top, I don't care if you took a different route than I did. ALL I CARE ABOUT IS YOU MADE IT TO THE TOP!
I can honestly say that I have been enriched by your presence, participation, criticism and various personalities. If the scriptures says study the ant for wisdom, I can surely study my brothers and sisters, the Glory of Allah's creation and learn as a result. Furthermore, I believe in mutual benefit, so I share what I can, not dogmatically, just my perspective on things at this Level of my Awareness. Accept it or reject it: that's your right. I respect whatever decision you choose.
This is a two way street. Please give us the benefit of your knowledge and grant us the same privilidge of accepting what we find beneficial and rejecting what we find detrimental or setting it aside for later use. The Law of Organized Effort and Collaborative Effort will allow us to accomplish the perceived impossible.
Nobody is any better at heart than any other. We are all vessels. We are all Great, Glorious and Unique expressions of Allah. No need to exalt one at anothers expense. There's room in the Garden of Allah, the Elevated Places for us all!
Forgive yourself for past failures, whether others forgive you or not, forgive yourself. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE PAST, ONLY THE FUTURE. Study the past, extract wisdom from whatever happened, plan for the future but you can't live there either! LIVE LIFE TO IT'S FULLEST EVERY WAKING MOMENT because LIFE IS TOO BEAUTIFUL, TOO PRECIOUS AND TOO SHORT to waste a second of it.
