HAVING FUN? IS IT PERMITTED BY GOD?
These are the bubbles..I'm blowing today...
You know what? I do so much meditation and prayer and I try to uphold keeping God's commandments in worship and praise. It's beautiful too. I enjoy every moment of thought about God. People often tell me I never have enough fun! That I'm a hermit. I don't really go to any parties, and as for dancing in clubs or bars I never venture there. I like movies which I call having fun-- and when it comes to casinos and betting, where I feel most out place I just don't attend as roaming.
But last night I confess I went to a casino! I was with my sister, my brother-in-law and my niece and her husband. Along the way, I laughed so much that I had tears! I wondered if I was allowed to see this as fun? This morning when I woke I had the best meditation and prayer ever in a long time. I'm not looking forward to go again tonight, or possible not soon in the near future nor ever not at all. If I was permitted to go there I haven't lost my trust, my love and my all so strong faith to stray away from the Lord's teachings. Nothing can separate me from this --not even things considered fun! I have a most joyous time in staying with God.
