WHITING, Ind. — The Rev. Jesse Jackson says the Gulf Coast oil spill is a result of the federal government's weak enforcement of the nation's environmental laws.

Jackson also said Wednesday that those laws are too weak and that the fines BP has faced for environmental violations are minimal compared with the British-based oil company's profits.

Jackson made the comments before leading a protest outside BP's sprawling oil refinery in Whiting in northwest Indiana.

He says the Canadian tar sands BP will refine in Whiting when a $3.8 billion refinery expansion is completed there will bring worse pollution to the Chicago area's air and water.

Jackson is president and founder of the Chicago-based Rainbow/PUSH Coalition

The Muslims all over the Globe, in Middle East, Arabian Gulf, Central Asia, Indian Ocean and South China Sea have been drilling for oil longer than Americans.

Solutions to probable accidents are well documented and well know, Globally.

jesseRev. is one of those madoff or tea party types, always has been.

The Government is President Baraka Hussein Obama!

BP is British Petroleum, the same bp that ousted the elected government of Iran in 1951---

the same bp that Conservative Margaret Thatcher used in Falklands and in 2010----

a somewhat educated guess is the same bp of tea partyConservatives that will do ANYTHING,
even against oneself,

to try to discredit the Greatness of the Government of President Baraka Hussein Obama.

go back to protecting mlk, jesse
