As an individual, many African Americans can claim, they have won. Even as a Group which is defined as a number of persons or things gathered closely together and forming a recognizable unit. To WIN an Individual must be able to survive and grow. Black Americans "win" as a group. Across America, programs are setup to assist their people with as array of problems including rehabilitation, mentoring, counseling and financial services. Religion and social networks have also been instrumental at strengthening the group. To Grow there is HBCUs which allows black Americans with ambition and motivation to excel, to learn necessary skills to sustain themselves and help others.
Then there is the Community where Black Americans are complete failures. Even as a Nation, Black Americans fail. There are many reasons why but, first, lets here what your thoughts are.

Hello Jamal,
Before I could give you my thoughts would you please clarify what is the difference of an African American and a Black American, since you use both terms interchangeably in your blog, okay. I want to know so that I would be on the same page as you are if you believe an African-American is the same as a Black American.
I am not as smart as you are. Remember that I have an IQ of 68. I am practically retarded. Therefore, I would like to know from you that when I look at a Nigerian African am I looking at a Black American as well.
Please give me your answer so I can give you my thoughts of your blog or take the opportunity to correct yourself now, okay.
Tell me what you think.
