Statement from South Carolina Democratic Party to AAreports on the surprising primary win by Alvin Greene

Irma Mr Greene was never on the Democratic ticket although he is a registered Democrat.

I don't know if you know how politivcs works but as an elected official I can give you a little insight.

Ifg you are a resident of the town or state for 1 or 2 years whatever the requirements are, you meet the age requiremrents, and you can get the required number of signatures on your petitions you can run.

Mr Greene challenged the establishment as a democrat independent of the state party much as I have in a local capacity.

I wanted to hear from the SCDP what their thoughts were and I learned alot especially since their primaries are run differently from ours in NJ. Theiers are open primaries in which dems and rep can vote for whomever they chose. Also I and other readers learned that the SCDP really doesnt have much power to stop someone from running.

George if you can please explain what that interview or this blog is talking about. example, if this was me doing an interview, my first question after getting that statement on having asked Mr, Green to with draw would have been how did he get to run on the Democrat ticked in the first place?!?

You see George, "I" could understand how one party would not know who is running on the other party's ticket, but not knowing who is running under your party is what???? ...

or better yet is this even legal????!!!!!? I ask, because each state have different rules so what was the purpose of this interview any way...anyone who watch any news local or national have seen or heard about his refusing to leave the ticket from him his own self or someone quoting him a long time ago...(smile)

Oh and George from that interview I now believe taht the Democrat pary in S.C needs to be investigated..."I" say this because this is he first political party that I have heard of going out of their way to loose a prize like a Senate seat as a given!!!!!!! (smile)

It just makes no sense at all as politics don't work this way, and the last thing we need is another strike against our skin color as not being constructive. ("I" am not smiling) Hell we have Michael Steele and this is enough as a counter (braindead male) from the right-wing to our president. (smile)
