(QM's Note: Jahlasja McLarty submitted this article to me about The 19th Ward's Presbyeterian Nursing Home. She didn't realize that it wasn't a hotel for older citizens. Its residents are mostly people of color and the children visit it during Halloween or Thanksgiving. The Home is less than a half a mile from School #16.)

The Presbyterian Home has two parts: North Hall and South Hall. In The Presbyterian Home, they go on trips like out to eat at restaurants. They even have a garden team and more. They have different programs for different holidays. They like to have a lot of fun by taking pictures. To stay at the Presbyterian Home, it costs $2,225.00 for room service and housekeeping. They go to Lollipop Farm and they can get animals. They go to a lot of schools like our school to read with the third graders. Sometimes, they have parties. They go to high schools to watch plays. They love being with the workers because they treat them with love and respect.
