WHY Are American Prisons a hotbed for conversion to ISLAM.
Black Americans and particularly males are bound to run into prejudice and discrimination when combined with the Christian religion often times land them in jail. Christian doctrine offers little defense against white authority slanted to racism. The white man pushed his whitenized religion during chattel slavery forcing blacks to turn their cheeks and pray for those who beat the hell out of them. He told blacks that if they were a good nig_a after white authority gets finisihed exploiting them and treating them like dumb dogs, that they would go to heaven after they are dead. Further that a righteous man named Jesus, whom they murdered, died for all the sins of the world in order than man might live. And if blacks were dumb enough still to believe that.....that there would be a time if they were loyal to their masters that Jesus would come back from the dead and rise them up beyond the clouds to heaven.

Many black Americans are wising up to the fallacy of Christian doctrine while the majority are satisfied continuing the belief in the white mans religions in fear that they might loose their job or status in white America.
When blacks in America wind up in prison, they have time to think about the sense of the Christian religion .....and many black males come to realize that they have been tricked. And that prison is a way of denying a black male freedom which makes a brother think about a new direction that works this time. Perhaps, the brother considers, he should get on a new course and stop putting so much trust in the white mans religion,white mans job and the white man's money. This is why prisons are hotbeds for teaching Islam which its doctrine of self love and do for self. A belief in One God that is living rather than one that is DEAD encourages brothers and sisters the value of life as oppose to death. Islam opens blacks eyes in prison as to the falsehood being taught at church with its emphasis on death and glory to dying. Islam puts emphasis on life and what it can offer in the way of freedom, justice and equality which appeals to inmates like it did to Malcolm X and Mike tyson and so many more.

Inmates get a chance to read with so much time in confinement and literature on Islam are all over American prisons. The brother is alone with himself and God.
