depends on what kinda good he's looking for.........
the men I know of in my church home congregation... are scandalous... not worth it... come out better hanging at de club!!
If you really want to meet a good man... The Library and The Bookstore....
and vice versa for a man.... whose looking for a good woman...
My mother met my father in a barber shop (of all places LOL), and they have been married for the past 32 years...they have their arguments as with all couples but they still have the ability to work out their differences. I think it's not WHERE or WHEN couples meet, it's all in how they present themselves to each other...
@ Brother Rich I did meet my husband thru church. Ha! He saw me first via a photo and the rest is history.
@ Sister Siebra,
Well when I was a cashier at Winn Dixie and BiLo I rarily saw men who did the food shopping, but then again in the south its not something men did. Oh well!
Sister Cynthia I think the barber shop would be the best place, eh! I used to wear a really short hair style for which I only let barbers "tape my nape". It's definitely full of men especially on Saturdays!
Hey my barber is gay.... I can't catch men where he works.... But I do find out a lot of juicy stuff about men from himmm!!!
How about is the church a place to find a Good Man... I love it good post!
Good question Sister Carolyn, but the situation in the church is even more grim when it comes to women out numbering men. The church ladies are all in competition to possess the same brothers in the church. You're lucky if you can catch one there (in the church). My husband was from another church and all the women were after him in his church.
Baisden isn't my favorite when he talks on the church, but I suppose he might have a half of a point. Good men are out there and we as women need to be strategicly placed where they can find us and it's not in the church. Good men shop, go to basketball games, go to movies, go balling, etc. They are out and about.
"ME", I don't believe a female gets to be looked on as an equal there, Jen. I believe today a grocery store has more independant / opened minded individuals as a place to meet up.lol (smile)
