California Gay Marriage Ban Overturned
A federal judge Wednesday struck down a California ban on
same-s*x marriages as unconstitutional, according to reports.
The ruling by Judge Vaughn R. Walker of Federal District
Court in San Francisco represents an important victory for
gay rights advocates in a case that many believe may end up
eventually going to the United States Supreme Court.

Absolutely agree with you on this point. The GLBT community has been treated poorly for so long and they are tired of the "crap" from the Evangelicals, Catholics, and the nay sayers in general. The GLBT community are human beings and although we may or may not agree with their lifestyles it doesn't give anyone the right to be hateful or mean spirited towards them.
It's just a matter of time before this fight that they are having will be an after thought in all of our memories just like the Civil Rights Movement has become to some of us (of course not your memory Sister Irma).
