No one cares that Ted Stevens is DEAD

Who is Ted Stevens? He was a Republican United States Senator from Alaska, serving from December 24, 1968, until January 3, 2009.
He known for some controversy
In December 2003, the Los Angeles Times reported that Stevens had taken advantage of lax Senate rules to use his political influence to obtain a large amount of his personal wealth.
Stevens had "steered millions of federal dollars to a sportfishing industry group founded by Bob Penney, a longtime friend."
Alot of the comments and response I've been seeing have been quite cruel and negative. Some saying "good for him" or "one less devil in the world" etc.
