ARIZONA "SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS" AND PRISON PROFITEERING: The Hidden Connection, Rachel Maddow, Aug. 12, 2010

Another point I forgot to mention: RM forces the Gov of Arizona to explain to the people of her state why privatizing prisons is a good idea when they have such a terrible track record.

Let's see how she tries to talk her way out of this!!!

Wow!!! What a bombshell that Racheal Maddow has dropped on Arizona Governor!!!!!!! Thanks so very much for this blog piece Brother Rich. I see why these poor undocumented immigrants are being hunted down~~ for the $$$$$ ~~ they'll generate for the money strapped Arizona if they decide to get rid of undocumented in their State or should I say relocate them (to prisons that will generate money for the State).

Let the good ole' Governor answer to the American people and Arizonians what is the reason she's trying to usurp the roll of the Federal Govt. in passing Immigration Reform and why she has people who have been lobbyists and have connections to Corrections Corporation of America. I think there's a conflict of interest big time and that someone needs to resign their posts ASAP!

I know. Here is a case where the public interest is blatantly being violated. The government is bringing in an incompetent system to profit a company that the governers staff has economic ties to.

It was an Arizona TV station that did the investigative journalism. And I'm with you--I'd like to see those citizens stand up and ask for heads to roll.

I would also like to point out that the profit incentive also applies to Health Insurance, the MIlitary AND Education.

Where the main drive is to increase profits, actual service suffers.

Hopefully, that possibility with light a fire under the Dems.
