The Queen's Chair: A Noise Ordinance For A Rooster?

I could not make this up if I tried. This is probably one of the dumbest stories I've heard in a while. In my hometown, there are a bunch of citizens in a nearby rural area that attended a town hall meeting. The residents complained that Blackie the rooster crows to loud in the morning and his crowing violates the town's noise ordinance. Excuse me?

He's a rooster. Isn't crowing what roosters do? The town claims since he doesn't actually help the family sell any goods on the farm, he's subjected to the ordinance and they can "ticket" the family. Even my tween has common sense.

Let the rooster crow, stop wasting tax payer money over this issue, and shame on the town supervisor trying to dictate what Mother Nature does. He's not God. I'm sure the town has much more important matters to attend to.
