Interesting. I thought this migration back South started several years ago. One thing is sure, housing costs are much lower down South. A lot of families have their roots (older relatives, etc.) in the South as well.

@ Sister Denise,
I agree with you because I relocated north after getting married and would like to return south as soon as possible probably to retire there.
Yeah but the price of groceries will kill you....LOL
And no Harry you are making no sense to me. Also no one has the right to tell anyone what to call themselves. If you choose to call yourself a Black american that's fine but unless u=you spell your name G O D you have no right to tell anyone else what they can call themselves. As for the rest of your comment, let's not and say we did.

Hello Mr. Cook,
Firstly, Black Americans are not African Americans. An African is entirely a different person from a Black American. An African American is a person of African origin that became an American citizen. Black Americans are the people that White America made when they bred themselves with the African slaves they purchase from the slave traders. The late Mr. Alex Haley, the author of ROOTS was a perfect example of a Black American as opposed to an African-American.
Now, it does not matter for now where Black Americans moves to since where ever Black Americans settles it will be within the borders and jurisdiction of what White America owns, which is the real estate of this country. Your eyes should be fixed on Black Americans becoming a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way. Am I making any sense with you?
Everything that I say is going to happen.
Tell me what you think.
