White America can grant a black American a good Job. They can even offer a black American a contract for 10 million dollars. A black American can purchase a rolls royce or a Mercedes Benz from the white man. But, in all that the white authority can do, they CANNOT grant a black American a true love of ones own self. This comes from knowledge....the kind of knowledge that does not come from your former slavemaster but comes from research and a thorough understanding of where you came from. This is where Fantasia is empty....trying to please everybody but unable to please herself because she obviously does not know self.

So, since the white man figured they had made Sis. Fantasia on American Idol....they could prescribe her happiness. But, the white man CANNOT prescribe black people's happiness which has a lot to due with "state of mind". The person themselves must possess the interest to study their own history and find the truth of it. Throw some understanding on top of it, and you have the forces against suicide. But, Fantasia left out the love of her self as a prerequisite for happiness. That does not come from the white man.
