Bill Cosby Played Alexander Scott (Or Scotty) -- A Rhodes Scholar Who Masqueraded As A Trainer To A "Supposed" Tennis Pro, Kelly Robinson, Played By Robert Kulp.

When I SPY First Aired In September In 1965, Bill Cosby Became The First Black American Actor To Star In A Network Dramatic Series. He Won Three Emmy Awards For His Role As Scotty, He Was The First African American To Win That Award.

Cosby Went On To Become One Of The Most Successful Television And Film Stars In The World. From 1984 To 1992 He Starred As Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable On The Cosby Show -- One Of The Highest Rated Sitcoms In Television History.

The Cosby Show Helped Raise NBC To The Number One Spot In The Television Ratings. The Show Also Changed The Way Black Family Life Was Depicted
On All The Major Networks.
