Irma, I would race home from school and made sure I'd have time to watch her in prime time television. I really enjoyed her program. She's still a hit! A beautiful personality that leaped into the hearts of many Blacks....and influnced many Black women and men to become nurses!.....What an awesome role model.

yep.... Corey you cannot go out to play.... Nurse is in de house.... No... Clark I think her funniest role was playing with Patti LaBelle in a Different World... She was Whitney's Bougie Mother.... and loud mout Patti was DeWayne's.... they cracked me up together.....

when Dewayne and Whitley got married.... She told DeWayne... Die why don't you just
Die.... and When Dewayne said.... Hey Ma... she fainted!!!

Don't forget too..she was the rich diva on Dynasty! Boy did she touch on toes on that tv show...

@Irma: You wanted to do quit your job?....You were hooked! But there were many fans of that show. I watched it some but always saw it as so fake. Never could get into like I did the daytime soaps.

I agree his acting ability is well-rounded on the stage as well! He's one of the best.
I'm was just smushing the s*xual scene. He's not very s*xy to me. However, he has a fine looking face and beautiful brown eyes... When it comes to acting he has little competition...I love his voice best of all.

And...Carmen. Did you know that Beyonce' stars in a more hip-hop version of the same movie? ...Carmen! I don't think it tops Diahann's though....that of course is a matter of opinion..[Smiles]

MIISRAEL, Dynasty is why I stopped watching soaps 'cold turkey'...I almost quit my job because my boss would not let me off and I had to miss this program when it was so hot I could not miss that next one...back then I watched soaps or me and my firends were on the phone talking about them...I had lost my rocker when I realized how colse I came to telling my boss to take his job and shove it!!!! ...

but reality set in and iIsaid nothing at all... (smile)
