The Queen's Chair: The New Fall TV Season

For the first time in a long time, I'm not excited about the new fall line-up. The fact that there aren't too many new black faces in it is one reason. Probably, the biggest reason is simply, TV shows that were hits before are being remade. I remember Hawaii Five O the first time. Do we need to see it again? At least the original had cast members who were Hawaiian. This one doesn't look it does from its promos.

And don't get me started with Reality TV. I don't care about Snooki, The Situation, or The Jiggle from The Jersey Show. And I don't care about Bristol Palin or The Situation on Dancing With The Stars. I am happy that Rick Fox, Kyle Massey, and Brandy are on the show.

I'm already watching more movies (old and a few new ones). The last season of Oprah begins in a few days. I'm slowly getting hooked on NBC's Dateline and my days of being a fan of late night TV are dwindling. This may be the year, I start reading more. I bought a whole bunch of new books. Now I will have time to read them.
