What this comes down to is money and with the economy being like it is I'm afraid the Black Chamber of Commerce may have no choice but to compromise or disband. It doesn't appear to me to be about race, but money plain and simple. The city has limited funds as does many cities over the U.S.

From the looks of it, the city only has two chambers of commerce and the whole question of the existence arose when one gp said they didn't get information about grant applications and missed their dead line for grant money to continue funding their yearly harvest festival. Hopefully they will come up with a solution to how to communicate and allocate shrinking funds in the future.
