Irma ... Adam and I have met... We share different ideology..

Adam Fate Sunday, September 19th 2010 at 7:51AM

Irma, they say size 5 is the perfect size for a foot model. BTW, I think lower case or upper depends on the importance you attach to it. Strictly speaking, there is no wrong or right answer, whereas Africa does call for the capital.

The rift between Cynthia and me is my fault.

MIISRAEL Bride Sunday, September 19th 2010 at 9:03AM

Cynthia has answered correctly! The letter "B " as in Black American should be in caps!

You Go Doc!

Hello to All,

Of course, Cynthia is right, grammatically speaking. Adam is absolutely wrong when he said it depends on the importance you attach to it.

According to Adam, if you eliminate proper English out of the equation Black Americans are not important people to Adam, which is a slap in the face to all Black Americans. At the same time, Adam wants to educate Black American children. He is out of his ignorant mind to feel superior to Black Americans because he is a White American. Adam has nothing good to say about Black Americans except that he wants to teach our children. The days of Black Americans learning, what White Americans deem important is over. Our sovereignty will provide an atmosphere that while Black Americans are teaching Black American children our children will naturally and psychologically assume all responsibilities of real people and not followers of White American people. In other words, Black American children will psychologically come to feel that Black Americans are important people once White America is remove from running our lives. Am I making any sense?

Adam does not want Black Americans to be sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

The days are numbered when Black Americans will become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Our sovereignty will put us on even keel with White Americans. However, Black Americans will become the most intelligent and advanced people the world has ever witness since creation of man. Everything that I say is going to happen.

Tell me what you think.

Harry, I met a young African-American student at the career fair yesterday. It was an event that included about 10 or so HBCU representatives. This was a smaller number than had been hoped for. During one of the presentations, all the young men were asked to stand and tell what career they had chosen to pursue, and at what college.

Only one young man said Computer Science. Keep in mind that only 3% of undergraduate degrees in Computer Science are awarded to African Americans.

So after the presentation I approached this young man (a sophomore) and asked was he currently able to take a programming course at the high school. He replied no, he would have to wait until next year. I then offered to tutor him at no cost, if he wanted to get started sooner. The next step is up to him.

But what in the world does my skin color have to do with teaching programming? Computer Science is just that, a science. The only thing in this equation that relates to skin color is that African Americans are extremely underrepresented in Computer Science. It does not matter a whit who teaches, as long as it is taught.

And to the subject, I have no concern at all about upper/lower case b/B because I do not use either form in combination with American.

Mom, the way I look at it, whether you use upper case (B) or lower case (b) doesn't matter, as long as we write it in a respectable way!!!

Siebra Muhammad Sunday, September 19th 2010 at 2:16PM

Amen!!!

Great, because "I" believe one of the worst things we can ever do is to allow someone besides our own selves to define us...

I also believe in steping into the other person's shoes ...that is, if the shoes are not too SMALL. LOL (SMILE)

PS "i" WEAR SIZE 5. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL...
