Why slavery was accepted – the good old reasons

From a chronological point of view, most countries had a number of period of slave trade. Inexpensive, credulous labor is very striking to premature developing countries. This is even further so when slaves those are expendable and dangerous slaves are needed. Prerenessance it was frequent that opponents were taken as labors, or even as called to be gladiators. Slave trading burgeoned in prehistoric times which was considering the region or the land where it was flourishing. With the commencement of the sixteen hundreds changes in human being communities started to see conflicts to grown-up, significant more barbaric put into practice.

With on the rise of the engagement rules as well as the etiquettes of the war the operations of the soldiers of the enemy and civilians was increasing a lesser amount of up to standard, the operations of labors that were far-away started to be more striking. It was legally dangerous to make a fellow citizen a labor, however getting labors from far away places was getting a preferred option.

With a immeasurably different racial look it was much convenient to isolate the labors from the non-labors. The shadowy sore African people by the royally times made an exceptional goal for early on colonies. There was a check on the different look. Patchy Tribal civilizations with no tough resistance were good targets. In the contemporary possibility Africa was credulous for slave trade. With not just that the opponent communities, per some credentials, sold imprisoned opponents to slavery; however with a technical boundary it was not at all difficult to imprison an intact village.

Once the Slavery era took its firm grip the margins for the entire profits were far too striking to be ignored. As with the trading system, those that were not into the concept of commerce with the idea of slavery simple couldn't struggle with the virtually free workers so many, to linger gung ho, cooperation’s personal ethically in the name of being in the very commercial trading and productivity.

Taking slavery as a concept of making profits, be it the agricultural or the commercial factor, it was meant to be for the trade. People did not consider it to be a factor of taking undue advantage of someone’s helplessness. It was not meant for the servants to gain rewards for the services they rendered. Cheap labor was the ultimate motto of the masters, as long as the slaver were kept alive, was all that mattered to the slaves.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS MATTER ?

Brother D, there's a book the NOI has out called Auction Sales available through the finalcall.com site. In it the book will decribe in full detail how slaves were auctioned off the same way you would auction off a house...it's pretty interesting stuff...

What a garbage outlook and a very false one painted about why slavery existed.

Slavery existed for two reasons power and greed the midget brain African kings wanted more and more! Slavery started as a punishment system for crooks, thieves, murders, rapists and persons the Kings and Nobles felt threatened by. Most slaves were sent away to far lands like Arabia, West Asia and the Far East. Sometimes bonded persons were burned alive by a sick ritual of pouring oil over their entire naked bodies and a huge hole that was dug were victims were tossed into a pit of fire! Europeans upon seeing this waste of life made deals with the Kings to purchase these person in exchange for guns because Africa was so rich in gold the Europeans didn't have enough to even interest them in this metal. Once the Europeans began buying more and more slaves they killed the ones they had due to mistreatment and abuse because they didn't want the slaves to multiply and overcome. Soon the criminal slaves ran out and the Kings were stuck with having guns but no gun powder and wanting more they contrived wars with their weaker neighbors and this is how war refuges became slaves all men, women and children from kingdoms in Africa conquered by other Africans.

Africans including African Americans and all Africans in Diaspora suffer denial about the truth of slavery. Nation of Islam and other radicals like to propose that Europeans were the captors of these people but no it was their fellow Africans. With the rise of the European or Western world many lands around the world and countries sought to imitate European strength by conquering their neighboring tribes in order to become the strongest. This same thing happened in the Asian world as the Japanese would go fought and conquer and enslave Chinese, Koreans and Fillapinos. Yet the Asians have dealt with their shame and betrayer of each other and moved on. But African people have yet to admit how cruel we were too each other in order to have power and wealth like the Europeans!

SMH.

Nearly every major nation in the world has been guilty, at some point in its history, of racism, slavery, rampant imperialism or even genocide.

Harry Watley Tuesday, September 21st 2010 at 9:26AM

Greetings to All,

The blog is ridiculous and the comments are equally ridiculous! This is why.

We should be specifically interested in the slavery of Black Americans. According to Mr. Washington slavery started as a punishment system for crooks, thieves and murderers. This is not true about Black Americans slavery. Black America’s slavery was for labor purposes.

According to David, nearly every major nation in the world has been guilty, at some point in its history, of racism, slavery, rampant imperialism or even genocide. This point is irrelevant and does not justify the slavery of Black Americans.

At this point in time our focus should be on, what it is our permanent solution if it is not that we should desire to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to practice our own religion LIFE, pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way?

Tell me what you think.

If the Africans were such crooks, thieves, and murderers, then tell me why weren't the Native Indians used as slaves, or were the Africans less violent then the Indians?

Harry Watley Tuesday, September 21st 2010 at 10:40AM

Hello Helen,

Mr. Washington does not know what he’s talking about and therefore he will not be able to answer your question, which is a very good question to his concept of why slavery started.

However, the intentions of White American people were to devastate the Native American Indians since White America wanted this continent from them. Therefore, slavery for the Native American Indians was not an option.

What say you?
