A VESSEL OF HONOR
ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
Having a pure heart...
GRACE, PEACE, LOVE MAY THESE BE YOURS!
Brothers and Sisters:
Notably we are ones that are sharing the light, if we live by following the commandments. Those who follower Christ march as soliders of glory and we with God are prominent in fighting a journey that leads them to everlasting living. True believers have a solid foundation of God, and thusly have his seal upon us. Let this be a notion to your daily living that you present yourselves as vessels of honor to the Lord in everyday deeds and planting of your works. This you'll do in having a pure heart.
There is not much required of God that you'll have a long list of things to do. He asks little of you, but gives you bounty. God cherishes pure hearts and the innocences of your spirit pleases him that he knows you completely. This should move your spirit; that you become more Christlike in the Word. His Word teaches you to trust and obey and to become pure as gold. God will allow you to be the vessels of honor where you'll abide in gentleness, and patiently teach of his commandments to others. Without harshness of words; but with virtures of goodness. Vitures which you learn and apply along everyday living. These are the enrichments from the Word. Vessels are his whom honor our Creator!
How exhilrating!
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver,
but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from the latter,
he will be a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for the Master,
prepared for every good work.
[2 Timothy 20-21]
