Diggy Simmons Speaks on Using N-Word in Music
Don't let Diggy Simmons' age fool you. The heir to Reverend Run's throne may only be 15, but he's not totally PG. On his jumpstarting "Made You Look" freestyle, Diggy rhymes, "I don't rap for my age like Lil Bow Wow."
Diggy also uses the n-word a few times on the freestyle and other songs. Honey magazine recently asked him what his parents thought of his use of the word."I just feel as long as it's not any other [curse] word, I don't necessarily think that's a curse word," Diggy told Honey. "I don't think that's a derogatory term. Over time it became something positive in the African-American community. So I don’t necessarily think it’s bad."
