Making An Appeal to Bia

Jen Fad · Sunday, October 3rd 2010 at 1:55PM · 167 views
As the world gets even more confusing, so has the blogs on this site. In the African American community alone, there are huge socioeconomic gaps in the housing, political, educational, health, business, employment sectors, etc...

There are very few blogs that challenge us to rise to the challenge of bringing about solutions and pertinent dialogue to help bridge these gaps; henceforth my challenge, I'd like to challenge the members of this site to bring more relevant informational blogs that will help us to bridge the gaps in these areas mentioned previously.

Although I post blogs with pop culture, music, and religious content, I'd like to make an appeal to all of us guilty of this to get beyond this type of blogging and deal with more practical issues that we face as Black people in America irrespective of our religious backgrounds and beliefs. In all sincerity, I enjoyed the quality of the site when I was reading blogs posted by bloggers with information that I found useful, informative, educational, and relative.

Thanks,
Jen "the Juicy Fruit" Fad

Sister Jen,

You've given us a positive idea in and of itself. All we can do is try harder. I am skipping over more and more, but I got here right? So the thought you gave me is to make two lists, one, the things that will help, the other, the things that won't. Should be an interesting exercise. I'll post when I've finished.

@ Saint,
[Jen Fad:
Let's start margin call, who are the culprits? Since you brought it out?????]

My blog isn't to call anyone out, but if I had to I would call myself on the carpet first especially since I post both religious and other probably non helpful content which interest me, but may not be necessarily helpful at bridging the gaps in our community. I do intend to try harder by posting more relevant information.

@ Brother Adam,
I do appreciate you rising to the challenge!

NOR AT LEASE FOR "M-E" PERSONALLY, "I" AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN CHOICE WHICH BLOG (S) "i" AM INTERESTED IN / WOULD LIKE / WOULD NOT LIKE TO MAKE A COMMENT ON.(SMILE)

#please note the "I" & "M-E"...thanks...
