11 & 12-Yr Old Arrested For Robbing Business At Gunpoint Mom Says “I Would Be Beating His A*s If He Was At Hom

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – They are too young to drive a car but not too old to be in serious trouble with the law. Two children in North Las Vegas have been arrested, accused of holding two clerks at gunpoint to steal some cash. The 11-year-old and 12-year-old boys have been booked into a juvenile facility at Clark County Family Services. According to the Clark County District Attorney’s office, the children will not be charged as adults. Police say they were armed with a BB gun, designed to look like a legitimate weapon, and were successful in getting their demands met. Investigators allege that the 11-year-old was the prime suspect to commit each crime, while the 12-year-old acted as lookout outside the store. On Monday, September 27th, the pair allegedly struck at Real Donuts on 2212 East Cheyenne. In a surveillance still from that incident, the boy can barely be seen as he peeks his head over the counter. His face is not visible because his shirt is pulled over his head. The next day, on September 28th, both boys reportedly ambushed a clerk at the Subway across the street. During that robbery, police say the 11-year-old was brazen enough to hold the BB gun to the clerk’s head. The victim from the robbery at Real Donuts says “it’s not fair” that these kids would do this “while she has a family and a baby at home”. The woman, who only wanted to be identified as “Juanita” said that she believed the BB gun was a real, loaded handgun. Regular customers at the store say it is beyond troubling that these young children would know how to execute such a crime.
