[Haiti Update]

On March 31, 2010 the United Nations held a Haiti Donor Conference which generated over $5 Billion in pledges from 59 nations to rebuild Haiti after the tremendous earthquake on January 12.

Yet Haiti remains devastated with next to nothing that shows significant improvement. Rubble removal, infrastructure, housing, economic development, school and hospital construction are elusive. People in Haiti and around the world demand to know "Where Is The Money?"

The Friday Haiti Relief Coalition will hold a city wide "HAITI UPDATE: Where Is The Money?" The forum will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 7 PM at Sistas' Place 456 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn NY.

It will focus on the UN Haiti Donor Conference: 6 months later. The Coalition organizers call on all people to hold every nation accountable for its pledge.

Special guests include Haitian Consulate, Consul General Felix Augustin, cultural performances, and video footage of the Coalition in Leogane Haiti will be screened.
