Sister Irma you make a lot of sense and sad to say, I am sure the NOI will not be on the documentary because that would be bad for the ratings.

I did see your blog and you are correct. Hopefully the Black Church will take a more proactive role when it comes to educating our community regarding HIV/AIDS besides talking abstinence which isn't working. We all realize that HIV/AIDS isn't a Black disease and nor is it a White disease. HIV/AIDS doesn't discriminate against its victims as it is a equal opportunistic infection that will make its home in any welcoming host. The Black Church has slipped in its role.

I suppose the 21st century Black Church has many issues that need to be dealt with, but for me I believe that HIV/AIDS should be priority on the agenda. As for the Jewish cable network story I'll have to check into your blog to see what is going on. I'd definitely be in favor of doctors and nurses coming into Black churches talking to them and educating them on HIV/AIDS and other health issues (high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes)that we as a community are facing.
