One of my favorite local teams, Rutgers U, just had one of its players, defensive tackle Eric Legrand, paralyzed from the neck down after a hard tackle.

Don't forget about the Bayou Classic Southern University vs. Grambling State game that's hosted every Thanksgiving weekend at the Superdome here in New Orleans...that's one of the best times to come here...

The Grambling tigers can run, no doubt, but they ain't the **** when up against the Southern band...that band can BLOOOOOOOOOOW!!!
