Google Malware Site Warning

Ivory Simone · Monday, October 25th 2010 at 6:23AM · 840 views
Does anyone know what steps the site administrator is taking to eliminate the Google Malware Site Warning? It's blocking my ability to access just about every site controlled by the HBCU web group. I've had trouble logging on this site as well and expect to be disconnected at any moment. Apparently someone is using this site to launch malicious programs into visitors' computers. The google warning is going to have a BIG IMPACT on the traffic to this and other HBCU websites. I hope something is being done --Just a heads up for everyone!

Hello Ivory,

I reported this to Reginald on Sat. but through private email. Yesterday I notified William Moss. Now that it's Mon. I hope they will read their PMs. The main support link is on hbcuconnect, which I've been unwilling to use. Though there could be a risk on BIA as well. Here's the blog I made Sat. concerning it:

Have you gotten the warning for BIA as well?

Ivory Simone Monday, October 25th 2010 at 7:44AM

Yes. I received a warning for BIA, too.

If I don't get a response soon I'll go ahead and contact them through the official support channel. I run Linux, which is much more secure than Windows.

Adam,
Thanks for your efforts.

Run your antivirus and spyware detection as you may already have been infected.

Does the BIA warning direct you to a Google report? If so could you post the link so I could take a look? Thanks.

Okay, I am contacting the administrators through the official channel on hbcuconnect. They don't seem to have read my PMs.
