The Queen's Chair: The Yankees Are Looking Old

I'm not really a baseball fan. I've been forced to watch the Yankees-Texas series. I'm sorry... they look old. The hitting isn't much better. BIG SIGH. Their captain Derek Jeter's contract is up this season. I'm wondering if they are going to re-sign him after this season.

Half of my friends think they aren't. Half think they will. I know I can't imagine him NOT being in the pin stripes. After all, he is one of their marquise players. However, I'm quickly reminded that even though Babe Ruth built the house that brought champions and adoring fans to the stadium, he got traded too.

There is no such thing as loyalty in sports anymore. It's about winning at all costs. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
