The Queen's Chair: The Tyler Perry Interview On Oprah
Perry explained that his body betrayed him every time and he had the hardest time with female lingerie worn by the woman (who inserted a house key in her private area below the waist) and made him retrieve it, if he wanted to leave the house.
I was shocked to learn that his father (who was an alcoholic and whom Perry now supports after he forgave him) beat him with a vacuum cleaner so badly (skin was coming off his body) that his aunt got a gun and confronted him on the street, near her house.
Now, I knew he was suicidal and I know he tried to kill himself a few times, but I was glad that God spoke to him and he listened. Not only did Perry turn his life over, but he got rid of his baggage and some of us don't do that. As you know, his newest film, For Colored Girls comes out next week on November 5th and I plan on seeing it.
I am delighted about his success and the man he is NOW. I wish him nothing, but continued success. I hope for those who watched this show that they realize you can move forward past any tragedy in your life. Don't let your pain stop you.
Who was the female that forced him to retrieve the house keys? I didn't get a chance to see the show on television. I think that in the majority of cases you will find that the homos*xual person has been molested by some one at a very young age. People don't want this type of information exposed because of the issues that homos*xual people are having in the world today.
