It has been approximately 388 days since a British couple took their 38 foot yatht sailing only to run into troubled waters of Somali pirates. Paul and Rachel Chandler took out money from the retirement to sail the open seas but were nestled into a terror voyage when pirates from Somali took them captive. The captive couple set a record for the longest dramatic siezure in Somali pirate waters. The agonzing days met the couple end today. The couple was abducted on October 23, 2009 and were held for ransom. Though the British Government claimed no hands in paying ransoms it was speculated because the Chandlers had no money aided them to a early release. Speculated sources indicated that possibly a ransomed was paid to the pirates for about $450,000 dollars. The couple stated in a interview they were beaten mostly becaused they refused to be separated. Now that the ordeal is over, the couple pleaded they were happy to be alive.

The couple was greeted upon their release along the region of central Somali near the Ethiopia's border where they were taken to a safe house. The greeting region treated the couple with hospitality and soon they were on their way home. Government officials wanted them to know that piracy and pirates are not entirely the to be reflection and actions of all Somali people.

The couple were served eggs for breakfast!!!
Whoa! Wake up with eggs....
