FARRAKHAN TELLS ROCKFORD: "THE JOY OF FREEDOM IS JUSTICE"

ROCKFORD, Ill. (FinalCall.com) - The opulent and historic Coronado Theater in downtown Rockford was the venue for a nearly two-hour message delivered by The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan titled, “The Joy of Freedom is Justice.”

It was the second time this year, Minister Farrakhan has spoken in the city.

In a very conversational tone which was at times humorous and other times extremely serious, Minister Farrakhan talked about many of the issues being experienced in Rockford, such as failing schools, a bad economy, foreclosed homes and joblessness, however, what is being experienced in Rockford is not unique. There are broken down people and broken down buildings in every urban city of America, he said.

In America, human beings have a measure of freedom, but many use this freedom to do evil. Freedom does not give you the right to steal from or misuse others, he continued.

“Freedom is what we all want, but freedom does not mean license,” said Min. Farrakhan. “You have a nature that comes from God and you are free to live within the bounds of your nature.”

He also spoke about the plight of Black people and the damage done by over 400 years of slavery.

“As a people, we have suffered much and as a people we have been the victims of injustice,” said Min. Farrakhan.

As an added bonus, Minister Farrakhan held a Question and Answer period immediately following his lecture, which surprised many of those in attendance.

Hello Siebra,

So you deleted the truth I said. You cannot keep doing that thinking that you are right. Deleting the truth that I say about Mr. Farrakhan does not keep Mr. Farrakhan right when you know that he is wrong based on the things that I said. You are going to have to face the truth about Mr. Farrakhan. He is one of my people and eventually he will come to final me.

I have the truth and God is working through me.

Why don't you and Harry shut your mouths and stop posting gossip about another person (Farrakhan) who is not here to defend himself?
