Bill Cosby is not only a legendary television figure, he is also an educator and social activist. On Tuesday November 22, Cosby went door-to-door with the superintendent of New Haven, CT to encourage children to stay in school.

"I want you all to understand the value of your children," Cosby told a crowd of parents, "Find out how your child is doing in school, who your child is playing with."

Cosby also urged parents to pay attention to their child's education. He told them to demand that the school to behave properly, and advised parents to behave properly themselves.

Although I wasn't able to view the video, I have to admit that in the past I've had some problems with certain parts of Cosby's comments/actions, but I love the door to door (grassroots campaign). I think what Mr. Cosby is doing is fabulous!
