African Centered Culture

African centered culture is, in my humble opinion, not African American Culture.

A central premise behind African Centered Culture is that many Africans have been subjugated by limiting their awareness of themselves and indoctrinating them with ideas that work against them. To control a peoples culture is to control their tools of self-determination in relationship to others.(africanAmericanCulture)

African Centered Culture SHOULD deSlaverize and decolonize the African mind. The central objective in deSlaverizing and decolonizing the African mind is to overthrow the authority in which alien traditions exercise over the African.

DeSlaverizing and decolonizing the African mind seeks to mentally liberate Africans. It is then clear that African centered culture is essential based on the idea of mental liberation.

The European, from 1492-1960, has bullied and thugged an exclusive view of reality; based on paganChristian concepts, to forcibly create a fundamental human crisis. This crisis has Divided the Family of Adaam. It has created cultures arrayed against each other or even against themselves.

Welcome David Jr. It is always best when we can see/focus the discussion on issues, rather than persons. But as it is persons that make the observations on issues, we sometimes fall into the trap of mistaken perception. The underlying question on many of these posts is the question of unity, and how comprehensive is that unity.

It seems that when someone like our gifted brother Mozell posts a blog or poem of positive substance, the majority of you don't wanna listen to what our brother has to say.

Yet whenever someone such as myself is being attacked or speaking negatively about in a blog the hits are so great you swear Oprah's on the forum giving away free cars.

I have to make a comment on the statement made about women because it has been bothering my spirit all day. WOMAN stands for a lot more than just a vehicle to bring forth life. Don’t take away the strength that God bestowed upon woman, because without her, there would be no existence. Never has man made a move without his woman beside him, he’s taken her wisdom in times of war, and at times shes often led the way.
In order to learn on this site under any circumstances we must be objective (to be able to fully comprehend what someone has said, as well as listening to others), not subjective,(Living in your own thought, unable to hear others, being already filled with your own opinions and ideas). Irma, Fate is entirely relevant to the topic, I think. It has to do with the patriarchal mentality, which has been uncritically accepted by all those who hold to the tradition that the man is superior to the woman. Fate is my mother's mother's mother's maiden name. So the female names, Fate, Cassell, and Biebighauser were successively eliminated through male dominance.

I will answer my own question. "All truths are relative" can only be true if "all does not equal all".

As far as the other question, am I Adam or Steve, it depends who you ask.

My own answer is that Adam is now posting as Steve, because Adam still knows who he is regardless.

It gets a little crazy when these posts cross in the mail.

Anyway, I have also been called James, which I am sure you will remember.

I think it would be fair to say that some truths are relative.
