They say that DC has higher AIDS/HIV rates than some countries in Africa. I found that really shocking that with all the HIV prevention we do here in the States.

Yes, the statistic is sad. We have got to change the way we think about HIV/AIDS. Some change of thinking has taken place since the 80's when the disease was affecting gays and drug addicts. But more change is needed.
