HOW old is your daughter? Do you consider what she's doing as odd behavior?

Hi Mrs. Irma, you mentioned she was signing her letters with " Jesus" at the end. Did you ask her why she is signing her letters this way? Is she someone that has been, what one may consider " Newly Saved" meaning, never been saved before ever, but is now?

Imra my advice as to what you've told me is that your daughter is not actually calling herself Jesus, but is using Jesus as her way of relating to you. By this I mean she signs her name as Jesus, because she is saying that it is Jesus writing to you through her letters. I don't know all details and I need not to know them, but my intution is that she wants you be aware that she is not writing you in terms of herself but Jesus is using her to refer to you as her own relationship with Christ being in exaltation of his name.

Many times it's not understood why some believers in Jesus do such things. Some feel strongly compelled that everything they do should be in Jesus name. Referring to a passage in the bible to do everything you do in the name of the blessed Lord Jesus.

It's only a guess, but it may shed some light that she may not be involved in a cult but merely finding a way that she feel is a corrective show of exalting the name of Christ. I hope this gives you another view of this action of your daughter. Soon, perhaps she may can explain this to you and your understanding of her commitment and worshp. I think then she will give an explantation of her actions.

This is my sincerest advice and I'll also offer prayers that this will come to she and you understanding each others actions more soundly.

First you need to find out if she has been depressed, worried, or getting enough sleep. If the slightest noise wakes her from sleep, then she isn't sleeping well. My nephew just recently had to admit his mother, my sister, into the hospital again. I notice that there are different times of the season where she is influenced more by her religious mental disorder. She has stabbed church members in the past and they wouldn't press charges against her.

I think Miisrael is on the right track. Some people become so caught up in their Christian or other faith they lose their perspective of the real world, and their entire concern is about saving others. Our lovely Miisrael has the faith, but along with that the acceptance of others, and uses her gentle persuasion. But I know when I was a more orthodox Christian I had a great concern for my loved ones who were not believers, at the though of them burning in hell forever. This may be what is behind her behavior. The fear of hell, whether for oneself or one's loved ones leads to much confusion. When I decided hell was illogical I was able to move on. But she will have to free herself from this fear. Remind her that God is love (it says so in my Bible), and a loving God does not sentence us to an eternity of torment. But the individual's belief cannot be changed without they have an open mind. I am still trying to find out who Jesus was, and when I talked with my mother about the existence of the four gospels being a synthesis and modification of earlier writings and tradition, such as the hypothetical Q document (I have made a post of here), I was called a heretic. So as gently as Miisrael puts forth her faith, we must also be gentle and patient with those who have become extreme.

@Irma, Thanks Dearest... I'm glad I helped a bit--at least giving you some kind comfort. I see that you are trying to keep conversing with your daughter opened and very liberal. Jus listen to her and she'll be moved by that. Soon, she will feel at ease within herself that God is always with her.

@Steve you are right some Christians are call fantics, but it's because they usually are fearful of what is unknown of their outcome. If they have God with them they really have nothing to fear or fear of principalities nor any evil. Thank you Steve.

@ Doc. she was 44 last Oct and she is the one i teh Navy wiwth the 6 year old...I knew she was inbad shape wit this fanatical behavior...the last time her sister visited and like the rest of the family keep saying she would get over this fanatical state...but this is stone cold insane...it islike she has become two people...one the public see and tehother behind closed doors that the family see...and, it is impossiable for anyone to get anyone treatment if they don't want it...

We have been chanting(praying) hoping she would slip up at work, but not so far...my grandchild comes first...I am not into this the child that fell thorugh the crack bull s__!!and, I amalmost beyond using she only has two more years to retire bull as an excuse not after this!!!!!!!!!!(nup)

My daughter was born and raised Catholic...then she weent NOI because he husband was a member...then when she started all of the every other word was something out of the Bible, I asked her what Bible she was using so I could get own and we could study the passages she was sneding to me together...

right arter I got from her she was getting all of this off of teh computer...I steped back some because she never did tell me what religion she was in as of late...this is why we believed she would not be doing this for long as she changes at will or what ever and we just leave others alone about their religions...then it got so she was always broke and asking or loans...then it went to OH MY GOD a cult...then it all quited down and now a few weeks ago here it is with this Jesus where she use to put her name...

my problem now is my grand son...myhusband said to wait until he or I go see her face to face...me, thelast ting I tink Ineed to be is some place near my chiold at this point in time...My husband says if th enest letter is signed this way then he will fly east to see her i person and her husband...her husbnd is at a total loss as we all are...Has this child had a break down or is it cult behavior or what and will it get better without out side intervention...ther in lies he 18 years in the navy...but this is why I need some out side objective advice as I and we are just too close to this unknown...

Thanks MIISRAEL AND WHAT YOU saaid makes sense to me...but what you just said about some people signing this way, I have never know it until now...thank you so much and as soon as I can get myself back to myself I will make contact by phone with her...but MIISREAL...when I talk with her by phone lately, I just tune her righ tout...this child talks i bible verses or lectures it is like she in in another world which she really is...

NO my daughter goes to work each day and have no problems there or any place else...she is so close to God in her own way that as I have never seen anyone tis extreme...I was grateful for what information MISRAEL gave to me...at least my daughter has not had a neervous break down , it now seems (smile)

Having share more with MIISRAEL by email in more detail, I am now better able to step into my child's shoes and I have even grown a lot my self...

I have moved the word FANATIC FROM MY VOCABULARY. lol... it is an abusive and prejudice word for me now. (smile)
