Stella, you're right. We can't expect others(the man) to treat us equally until we start treating each other equally. It start in the home and moves out into the community and then the city. I was hoping this site would get us sharing ideas on what we could do to mentor our children. Just look at what the Harlen Children Zone and Mr Canada is doing.
I know you are speaking about your city and the corruption that's happening. And yes some of us let greed get in the way. A few months ago, the Fed convinced a brother to bride a Senator(Diane Wilkerson, a sister) and a City councellor(another brother)
with some meager cash. Both the senator and city councilor are both out of office and are awaiting sentencing. They were sold out for $30,000.00. Neither one should have allowed themselves to stoop to this level.
Hello to All,
It is not true that Blacks have power. You all want Black Americans to be much more than we are since you all are Black Americans your selves, but it is not true that we have power. It shows that you women are psychologically healthy to want better for yourselves. Again, it is not true that Blacks have power. No people can have power when they do not have their own country. Black Americans do not have a country of our own; therefore, Black Americans do not have power. You women are seeing things wrong, am I right.
I am the way, and besides me, there is no other way that Black Americans could ever become a real people in this world. I am too Black Americans what Moses was to the children of Israel. Everything that I say is going to happen. Black Americans are going to inherit a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to worship God, pursue a life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way. Black Americans have our own religion. Black America's religion is, LIFE.
A people that are going to be free as we are must have everything of our own to begin a prosperous life. That means the Christian religion we must forsake for our own religion, LIFE. Am I making any sense with you all?
Tell me what you think.
Hello Stella,
Okay, you recognize that I am right when I corrected you that the 41 million Black Americans in White America do not have any power.
You said this, "If we UNITE like other groups we can have all the power we want & need." Now, that you recognize Black Americans do not have any power we can then take the second step. You feel that if we unite we could have all the power we need. Okay, I agree with you. However, the problem now is who could unite us? The person to unite us must be our first genuine prophet. It will take an act of God to unite us. The first thing that God does when God picks up the causes of a people that cannot help themselves is to anoint a prophet from among them, am I right.
Everything that I say is going to happen. Black Americans are going to inherit a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to worship God, pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way. God has heard the cries of Black Americans for over 500 years and just recently God has taken up our causes and desire to be sovereign free people. Am I making any sense with you?
Tell me what you think.
GOOD POST SIS!
@Stella, "I" gather you are not coming to the BIA site on a regular basis are you?!?...
Well "I" am on this site on a regular basis and I promise you that Rush Limbaughs, Gleen Becks on our public air waves can not even come close to reasons to hate, stay away and demean the Blacks as is done 24/7 right here on this BIA site! (smile)
...and Stella, my answer to your question is as simple as each individual must learn that for ever cause they make in their life/ their environment is going to have an effect be it positive / negative and that what we do/ do not do must come from within our ownselves.
As a NDB, "I" have learned that each obsticles in my path in life that is trying to cause me to not be happy, safe and secure is to be over come by me and not by playing the blame , pity me the victim game or passing my duty on to someone else, place, time or thing. (smile)
@ Dorthy, "I" saw those Black in America specials as another enrun on keeping us down and trying for the enrun around they can get more in our race to learn from them than we can in our own Black in America history departments in our colleges today and now having Phila to be the only place the our true history is required from teh first day in school. (smile)
and may I add tere is a reason taht so many youth voted for our president and some states are trying to ban ethnic study in our educational instutitions as never before when all we had was a study of slavery and not study on teh Black family make as a survival tool...I draw special attention to how we now demean the Black single mother...
THE DIRECT TIE WITH THE BLACK PROUD MALE IS HIS MOTHER AS SAID INOUR BLACK IN AMERICA HISTORY...UNTIL THE INTRO TO EAST L.A. OF CRACK BY GUESS WHO???...(NUP)
or at least this is why they have maybe gone after Maxcine Waters fo rrefusing to not stop trying to get this matter before our federal courts??/...YES WE CAN...(smile)

We don't support each other and fail to realize this is one reason we can not move up.
Just watching the "Black in America" program should have made us want to work together to improve the lives of ourselves, children and future generations. Are we any better off by using this site as a medium to exchange ideas, thoughts to move forward?
