Wow, this is a sad story. I wish there were more details. Apparently those parishioners saw it coming from just the soundbite, so I wonder if they tried to do more and instituted changes. Why was membership falling off. I'm sure the full story will eventually come out and I pray that everything will work out for that church in the end.
