As far as the high and low points for 2010, I'm sure most would agree that the best moment was the creation of David's African American History blog (which is still ongoing)... whereas the low point was when our Brother Earl Brown left us.

Steve Williams Friday, December 31st 2010 at 6:53PM

David's blog is not ongoing, it is blocked. Is this a high point or a low point?

Steve Williams Friday, December 31st 2010 at 7:10PM

And he has smashed your religion to smithereens, Another high point?

DAVID JOHNSON Friday, December 31st 2010 at 7:10PM

my high point is when i started to brake down the walls of ignorance in my life about the history of my people and BIA and its members have open my eyes to the truth, today i can speak boldly about my history and teach other African American men, women, and families, and continue to shatter negative stereotypes and misconceptions by stimulating positive ideas, dialogue and solutions.

my lows is the fact that there is a vast amount of information being posted here at BIA and there is a dying world filled with my people that can use most of the information to have a better way of life a new way of thinking a new way of living an new way of loving each other with respect and reverence !

But undoubtedly the numbers are high.

Steve, I know some of us have issues with David, but you have to give credit where credit is due. What makes David's African American history blog the highest point of 2010 (to me) is because it was a African American history blog that everyone (even the members who don't always comment) had an opinion on, and it is also the blog where our gifted sister Christine also made her debut.

And yes, David took pot-shots at Islam, however David has told me out of his own mouth that he highly praises the NOI for their intervention in our affairs. And he was not attacking Islam as taught by Min. Farrakhan, he was attacking Islam as taught by the White Arabs who tampered with it and made it into a mind controlling intrument.

But getting back to the blog...Everyone got along great, there was no attacks on the members...and I must say, everyone learned more about their history on that blog than they've learned in years!

True Siebra, I learned a lot on that blog and you can still see (most) of the results of my hours of research and posting on it. But at some point it was deemed that I was not black enough. So for me, it was a high point that became a low point.

@sTEVE AS ONG AS YOU REFUSE TO BELIEVE / UNDERSTAND THAT WE CAN TO BE TOUGHT TO BE BLACK BECAUSE IT IS THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING BLACK AND HAVING TIES TO MOTHER AFRICA...

TEACHING OUR HISTORY IS FOR US TO UNLEARN THINGS LIKE OUR CULTURE IS NOT MOTHER CENTERED SO LETS NOT DEMEAN TEH SINGLE MOTHER BECAUSE SHE IS A FEMALE AKA THE ONE WHO HAS THE BREAST MILK NOT THE MALE!!!!!...

RESPECT OUR ELDERS BECAUSE WE ARE AN ORAL LEARNING CULTURE, ECT. (SMILE)

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

..OH AND STEVE ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT THING WE MUST LEARN IS OUR CULTURE DID NOT BEGIN IN AMERICA AND WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HUMANS NEVER PROPERTY...DOES YOU AMERICAN HISTORY CONTAIN THINGS LIKE TIS STEVE...OR THE BLACK WOMEN HAVE ALWAYS HAD EQUALITY IN OUR CULTURE OR THEY WE MUST NOT POLLUTE TEH PLANET BECAUSE THE PLANET NOR HUMAN BEINGS ARE FOR US TO CONQUOR...(SMILE)

ROBINSON IRMA Thursday, April 10th 2014 at 6:47PM

...sorry I meant CAN NOT BE TAUGHT...

@Steve,not science so much as religions also teach taht science is bad for us if we want to go to heaven...so glad "I" don't fear going to hell for accepting facts...tangable things...things I don't agree with but still respect and give credit to, for, ect. lol (smile)
