AP - The will Elizabeth Edwards signed days before her death last month made no mention of her estranged husband and two-time presidential candidate John Edwards. I can't believe John told his mistress that when his wife dies, he'd marry her. I can't say I blame Elizabeth one bit for wanting her eldest daughter to be guardian over the younger siblings, but I don't think that she was right to do that. Sure she probably doesn't want Riel raising her children, but John is still their father and you can't keep a father from his kids even in death. That decison about guardianship wasn't Elizabeth's to make. John is the rightful father. I hate when women try to get back at men through their children. After hearing that bit of the will, I lost a bit of admiration for her.
