Memphis and also the tri-state communities of Tennesse, Misssissippi, and Arkansas were in the path of a winter storm which travelled through beginning on Sunday evening and continued through the night. School kids were awaken to a school holiday as the "Old man winter" dropped up to 4 feet of sho' snow over the states. Road conditions are presently very hazardous and most if not many motorists are staying home. Temperatures are said to be in the low twenties...
Yesterday afternoon many Memphians did their trips to the grocery isles in anticipation of seeing the winter storm hit within hours on Sunday evening. This snow storm is the first of the wintery weather of the season, but forecasters say more may come later in the 5 day precipation.
The snow is beautiful, so I'm deciding if I want make a deal with it--to stay home or go to work?
