Lets break it down. If if need to have a boulder LIFTED from in front of my house, I call local to county to state government to have it removed OR I go to the hardware rental shop and pay for a power shovel or Jig to lift it MYSELF. BUT, if I have to wait on money sent from the US government to US contractors using THEIR equipment then I might WAIT FOREVER.
Well "I" am so very glad to be able to I say I can look in my mirror without any shame or regret or wondering where are the engineers, because I will not be seeing one looking right back at me. .. besides all of the engineers may be off still trying to figure out how they build teh pyramids any way.(otfl) (smile)...

Try building a house on top of rubble. Or, for that matter...try building ANYTHING on top of rubble. Had the Haitian government put more stock in their institutions of higher learning before the earthquake rather than voodoo, singing, dancing and the arts...they would have engineers and scientists local to them for figuring out the best strategy for demolition and waste removal.
