I'd like to know how a cheating husband, who is breaking up a happy family, was able to turn her son against her?

Wow. She sounds like she's still in love with Steve. My heartfelt prayers go out to her for her healing and restoration, but the real loser is always the child.

I don't know the answers, but I do know one thing. That woman is not lying. Everything she states and sounds like what a dog would and has done, and from the mouth of the man himself, he was a dog back in the day. To have a woman call your house, you know she's not lying. I love Steve, but I hope he's come to terms with this situation and make it right with mother and child, because all that he's spouting in his books, no woman should be separated from her child. I love you Steve, but you need to fix it!
She might still be in love Sista Jen, but she's also trying to move on and Steve needs to make that happen.

Yes Brotha, because he was cheating with her and the report was, they had put the ex out and moved in the new meat, and that just ain't right. You don't leave the mother of your child with nothing when she was with you 16 years, didn't cheat on you and you leave her with nothing. Thats crap!. Steve's never gonna find peace with himself or his life until he fixes it.

Sounds like Steve let his money do the talking during his divorce, I think that the son might be old enough now to know the truth about why his mother is being rejected.

As couples, we need to learn to talk and try to understand the root of a problem in a relationship. Too often we're quick to judge, making us unable to communicate because of anger or opposing opinions. This, ultimately, leads to greater problems in the relationship resulting in accusations at both ends -- whether right or wrong. And, oftentimes, neither side really knows the truth! No one knows what truly led to the problems in Steve Harvey's relationship. Either way, it was a "No-Win" situation ending with a young man being taken away from his mother, followed by embarrassing, public humiliation and accusations on both ends. Was this justified? Was his extramarital relationship justified? Are the accusations about one another true? No one really knows because we were not there.

Having gone through a similar situation (no children were involved), what strengthened our relationship was seeing a therapist who taught us to communicate without the anger -- we were able to talk and understand one another's viewpoint. And, as sad as it is for me to say, through communication I realized I was the reason he strayed from our relationship. There were too many things far more important to me, e.g., career. Once we learned to communicate, I learned how to fix the problem. Once we learned to communicatae, he learned to do the same. No one's relationship will ever be perfect -- it's about how we fix what's wrong to avoid an outcome such as Steve Harvey and his wife.

Sista Anyar, God bless you that you were able to forgive, release and move on, but this woman didn't have that benefit. She was left out in the cold. I understand completely how she feels, I'll leave that alone. We may not know exactly what happened in that relationship, but the story is the same in everywhere you go. Money, fame and fortune went to his head, or temptation was calling his name. He stated himself, he was never able to be friends with a pretty woman. What exactly does that tell you. Stay from around them if you are going to be tempted, when you got a wife at home. After 3 marriages, enough is enough.
I love Steve's radio, comedic and even professional appearance, but that's just it. what we personify him to be. We don't know him personally, but I do know this, you have never seen this woman in the news until now, so something happened that set her off. Hum, I wonder, maybe it was her child and not being able to see him. I'd be damned, if I let anyone stop me from seeing what I gave birth too! Ain't gonna happen!

My goodness... I don't know what to say.... after all.... the man has said time and time again... he ain't no saint.... and now that he has Marjorie (the present Mrs. Harvey) and GOD he's a much better man....

Hey Sista Cynthia, Greetings. What a eloquent way of putting it. LOL! Heck yeah Ms Marjorie was the other woman, but more stuff has come out since I posted this. Marjorie has filed a lawsuit against the ex wife for defamation of character, and apparently there's a gag order against Steve Harvey. That's the reason he hasn't come out and rebutted the video's and statements his ex has made.
Now Mr. Rickey Smiley does have something to say. He says Steve might have a gag but he don't and he said he was there in every situation. He says apparently the ex wife treated steve like crap. He said you should see how she treated him, like a dog, and she had some serious issues. He didn't say she cheated, but he did say, her other kid was taken away from her by the first husband and apparently she's wasn't a very nice person to steve or any of his friends. He said steve didn't take their son, and that she doesn't deserve to have kids anyway, but he also said he will admit steve wasn't no golden angel boy (I don't know what that means), but apparently this new book that's coming out Ms. Lady didn't write it, but she is endorsing it and thats why she's spouting off now.
Sorry I still love Steve Harvey, but I still say the ex was blind sided. She has no man, no home, no children etc. She claims she helped steve accomplish who he is now, so I guess there will always be 3 sides to the story, his, hers and the truth. We will probably never know. Its funny how Mr. rickey took steve's side, especially when they are best friends. Steve is his mentor and he just went through the same thing himself. There is some craziness going on up in that camp.
