2-year-old dies, man arrested after possible abuse what the hell
BRIGHTON - Police have arrested a man on child abuse charges after a 2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital on Tuesday and died on Wednesday night.

John Bradley with the Brighton Police Department says 31-year-old Donald Jean Scarlett was arrested for child abuse resulting in bodily injury.
The boy's name is Michael Harris. It's unclear if Scarlett and Harris are related.
Bradley says a call was made to 911 from Scarlett's home in Brighton at 12:48 p.m. on Tuesday for a medical emergency.
Brighton Fire responded first. According to the fire chief, responders had to perform CPR on the boy.
The 2-year-old was taken to Platte Valley Medical Center. Later on the child was transported to The Children's Hospital. 9NEWS got word the child had died on Wednesday night.
It has not been announced if charges against Scarlett will change following the 2-year-old's death.
