until yall all man up and be strong like the slaves had to be. they had no one to complain to and no choice but to survive. everybody always being so sympathetic and sorrowful about slavery; let's turn it into a positive and make those slaves an example to live by...minus the whippings. but let the whippings be symbolic of life kicking our asses, but we take it like champs and keep on keeping on! making it do what it do !!
