Orange County, CA (BlackNews.com) -- Writer, actress and artist, Kobina Wright, has dedicated her most recent abstract to the late great Teena Marie.

Wright's latest ink on paper abstract sketch titled, "Square Biz," incorporates Wright's love for poetic illustration and repeat visits to simple shapes to form complex concepts.

"You'd have to know the song well to get the piece's connection to it," Wright says.

Teena Marie (Mary Christine Brockert), a singer, song writer and musician, died on the afternoon of December 26th 2010. She was 54.

Wright is also a California native and has recently published a book of nuler poetry titled "50" (Amazon.com) dedicated to the art and life of the late great Michael Jackson.

Some of Wright's other accomplishments include starring in the film, "Dark Town;" creating the Hodaoa-Anibo language and authoring five books, including, "A Crime And A Simplification Of Something Sublime."
