Heavenly Father:

Upmost Almighty,

this prayer is for the longing inside.

The longing of those who are crying

out to you.

The longing of the confused, the weary, the sad, and the lonely.

The longing of the glad, the cheerful and the high spirited!

The longing of the gifted and the poor.

It is a prayer for those longing to be better than they were before.

In this prayer I long that you come

to the aid of our prayers and to please you;
that it is allowed
the longing of love
to be abiding therewith
inside us.
