I believe in angels and have personally experienced their power as agents of God. In modern terms I believe they are what we now call extra-terrestrials (though I think we should find a better name), and I also believe that they had a hand in our creation, perhaps in the creation of our DNA. I have always been fascinated wit the use of the plural in Genesis, "let us create man in our image. Thank you dear Miisrael for this important topic.

Steve that's remarkable. I too have been in association with the power of angelic beings and happenings. Many times it occurs with such incredible experiences it's such a miracle. may refer to any object or being beyond (extra-) the planet Earth (terrestrial). It is derived from the Latin Root extra ("outside", "outwards") and terrestris ("earthly", "of or relating to the Earth").

of course The Creator created the Malaeeka for Their purpose, air, wind, gravity, space, things beyond the Earth--but I believe the Master of Language, Steve, can come up with a better definition from the original text of "let us create man in our image"(I do not believe it would refer to Malaeeka)

Malaeeka, is a transliterated word from an Arabic Word that to ME, means "Slaves of The Creator that have ONLY the Purpose of Service to Allaah, with NO will other than Allaahs'----

In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of AlQur'aan [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkâm (commandments), Al-Fara’id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, those who go astray)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation from the truth; they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allâah. Those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabarî).
18. Allâah bears witness that Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and MALAAEEKA, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He always) maintains His creation in Justice. Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
19. Truly, the religion with Allâah is AlIslâam. Those who were given Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâah, then surely, Allâah is Swift in calling to account.

All the accounts that Mankind receives are given thru the slaves of The Creator, Malaaeeka.

Science is a set of "Discoveries" and the Theories that Men place on Things that they did not know before 'their' discoveries of things that were ALWAYS serving THEIR purpose of their creation, by The Creator of the Malaeeka and Adaam(as).

The service and duty that Iblees gave to Adaam(as)--- was not random or evil,

it was the fate of Adaam(as); that a temptation, that a disobedience to Creator would make The Family of Adaam(as): Work, Discipline and Submit self to His/Her Creator and the Messengers and Books, sent thru Malaaeeka.

Allaah gives Mankind Options, as the Great Suratul Baqarah states:

255. Allâah! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (The Ever Living, The One Who sustains and protects all that exists). Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. There is nothing that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to His creatures in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. His created will NEVER grasp anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth. He feels no fatigue in guarding, protecting and maintaining them. He is The Most High, The Most Great.

256. There is NO compulsion in Deen-religion. The Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût(anything worshipped other than Allâah, The Creator)but the one who does not accept to be worshipped will not be considered as a Tâghût, all the false deities. (1)

(1) Taghut may be Shaitan/Iblees, devils, idols, stones, sun, stars, Malaaeeka, human beings, who were falsely worshipped and taken as Tâghûts; Likewise saints, graves, rulers, leaders, are falsely worshipped and wrongly followed. Sometimes "Tâghût" means a false judge who gives a false judgement, and believes in Allâah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

Submission to Monotheistic THought is WORK and NOT a handOut. Paradise and the Shade of The Creator are not a handOut but a Lifes' Journey for the sons/daughters of Adaam(as).
