I've known about the chat for about a couple of months, but I find it's not used very much. Everyone is so quiet! I think this one has to grow on those who are "cyber-shy" if there is such a thing as that? Anyway, it takes time to get used to chatting live, many are somewhat leary of it. Thanks Jen for letting others know it's available!
Hey Juice--
I am foolling around with it--I love how you can adjust the fonts and colors.
And, hey--I will talk to you anytime, anywhere!!! You name the time and place!!!
I'm not very chat savvy...but to each his or her own...
I know that the chat feature has been on the HBCU site, but its just recently made its debut here and on BWC. I thought perhaps it was slow coming here because of rare debates and disputes. I like chatting and have been chatting with folk on another site. It looks like the chat feature here needs some improvements where we can private chat with one another if we don't won't someone to see what we're chatting about. Also I think we could use chat rooms where we go there to talk about same type interests such as prayer, children, family, sports, ect...
@ Saint and Bro. Rich,
Just let me know what time and day!!
LOL...Saint you are something else!
@ Saint,
I know right! Last night I posted a weblink for a webinar with ACLU of NJ that was on at 11:30pm but I forgot about it. I wanted people who could to watch and chat about it.
We wanted to make sure you didn’t miss some must-see TV tonight: the ACLU’s National Legal Director Steve Shapiro will sit down with NJN’s Due Process , April 19 at 11:30 p.m. to talk about the big constitutional issues the Supreme Court has taken on this term. With two weeks left of this Supreme Court session, Steven Shapiro will highlight the most important cases for the year. (The ACLU is involved in about 25 percent of the cases the court will have heard this term.) Just a sampling of some of the major issues before the Court:
•Is California’s ban on selling “violent video games” to minors censorship?
•Did Arizona violate the Constitution by offering tax breaks for parochial schools?
•Where should the lines of the state secrets privilege be drawn?
Steve Shapiro is one of the nation's foremost experts on the Supreme Court and civil liberties. We hope you will tune in for this informative interview. ACLU of New Jersey www.aclu-nj.org -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join me here to Chat if you can.
We could probably still chat about it because the link may allow those of us who missed it to view. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. At anyrate we'll try to find an interesting topic to chat about.
Jake, I was referring to the 'getting their groove on' comment...I apologize for the confusion (smile)
Thanks Jen. Is this related to MIISrael's suggestion to administration?(smile)
@Jen, "K" (smile)
