BLACK PRINCESS BRIDES...ARE BLACK MEN AFRAID TO COMMIT TO A ROYAL BLACK WOMAN?

During this day of the British Royal wedding I did a poll of Local area Memphis Black men single, and married aging from 21- 75 and asked
Are Black men afraid to commit to a royal black woman? Read the surprising results in this local Hometown Memphis poll. Royal Black Princess Brides may need to brace themselves..

And poll survey said:

40% said NO
10% said YES
35% said They didn't know
15% said They didn't care to answer

Most of these men viewed that they were not all too seriously in commitment to marriage. They discussed that issues of being devoted to a woman was often not a real point of vantage in their leap to commit. Older men between 40-45 said they feel that men should play around first and leave marriage out until they are fully ready to commit. Younger men that did feel ready for commitment were eagerly that they could find a suitable young black woman, because they didn't just want to marry any kind of girl. Senior men over 50-75 said they thought marriage was good, but if they could change their mind about committing more than half of them said they would rather be married than single; but added they'd wish they could of waited later to do so a more mature age.

Any Royal Black Women willing to marry an "Older Bachelor"

Thanks Saint...I was surprised that younger men are looking for a more polished kind of girl, since I find many of them least concerned about the kind of women they are dating...I was opened to their opinions...and that makes our Black Royal Princess aware there are so royal Black Princes willing to commit faithfully.

@ Saint,
That's interesting that you brought to the blog the point that many playas aren't happy. I also think that's the case with not just men, but with women as well. I think women and men play the field for different reasons, but at the very root cause of it is due to lacking something whether that be spiritual, physical, or emotioanal. I think the key to ending the lack of committment that is evidenced by Miisrael's poll is good home training about the importance of marriage. Kids should be able to see real life examples of a good healthy marriage right before their eyes from the time they come out of the womb. Also they should be taught the importance of marriage and the purpose of marriage. Hopefully the old playas are not still living in the time before HIV/AIDS and are using c*ndoms. Hmmmm?

Miisrael,
It's interesting that you bring this survey which is more a reflection of the culture we live in rather one ethnic grp. I know that you aren't attempting to limit Black men and Black women to one another, but I must point out that there are so many eligible men (and just because a man is single doesn't make him eligible as evidenced by the quick survey response you received) ready to marry from all ethnic backgrounds and cultures. For me, I wanted a man who loved God not just in word but also in deed and who would be able to take care of me if a situation arose where I couldn't work or if I became sick. The most important thing of all was that the man was committed to me and our marriage. Thanks for the blog and I wish you a really wonderful weekend!!

@Jen you know me!. I'm just looking at why Black men are less likely to give commitments. Of course, I have no scale when it goes to any color or race bounds. When love is the issue I know it has nothing to do with racial lines. You're great Jen...always giving insight I feel is honest and open.
YOU have a super weekend too!

Hello Ms. Shields,

Take a poll for something more important, please! Take a poll and see if any Black American would want to be a sovereign people having a country of our own, okay. Let us see what happens.

What say you?
